| The fortress Vranduk is a fortification in the area of Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was declared as a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.nThe fortress Vranduk belongs to the type of hill fort and consists of a citadel with the main tower and the remains of the walls. Fortunately, despite the later reconstructions, the original forms have been preserved, reminding of the early solutions of European fortifications. In the Middle Ages, the main tower was taller and the floor space divided by the wall. The small tower and the eastern wall were later built to protect the entrance to the fortress. Several objects of different purpose were found within the boom, and the remains of the `Dizdar`s House` were also found. |
