Abandoned and ruined palace and castle building in Zary, Poland. German baroque artist virtuoso composer and musician Georg Philipp Telemann lived and composed there between 1704 and 1708. Former Sorau in southern Poland, where Telemann lived between 1704 and 1708. Many of his compositions from this period are under influence of Polish folk music. He used to call it both barbarian and beautiful.
