An early evening view through an archway in the Arnolfo cloister of the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence. The bell tower of the church can be viewed through the arch. There are three cloisters in Santa Croce: Arnolfo’s Cloister, Brunelleschi’s Cloister and the small Ancient Cloister. This is a Franciscan church and a minor basilica of the Roman Catholic Church. It is also the largest Franciscan church in the world, where many notable people are interred.
