Woda Island is located in the District of Oba, Tidore, North Maluku Province. Currently, Woda Island is known as an uninhabited island. However, in the past Woda Island was an inhabited island with the main livelihood of its inhabitants as fishermen. The origin of the people who used to occupy this island was from Mare Island, began to settle and live on Woda Island to make it the main village at that time. The Woda population was eventually moved by the Government to Halmahera Island so that it became an uninhabited island.
